With a vehicle whose story is as enduring as that of the Chevrolet Blazer, the options for selecting one can be daunting. However, by carefully studying the options offered in the listings, you can find your next ride on eBay. Here's how to select yours.

As you shop, you may notice that a considerable number of listings are new Blazers. However, chances are good that you will soon come across a listing for a 1970 K5 Blazer for sale. This brings up two important (but different) classes of vintage Blazer: the K5 and the S10.

• The K5. This model series was first introduced in 1969, and it progressed through several different iterations. Since these models are based on full-sized pickup trucks, they may be a good option if you want something with storage space and decent towing capacity.
• The S10. This model series was introduced in 1983. Instead of replacing the K5, it was meant to offer a smaller, two-door option.
• The 2019 and 2020 models. After almost a decade with no Blazers made, the 2019 and 2020 models offer a sleek, new look that is much different from the usual Blazer silhouette.

When you search for a Chevy Blazer for sale, you probably aren't looking for a show car. However, older models in excellent condition will usually command higher prices. This is especially true of the early K5s, which look more like trucks than SUVs.

However, in many cases, if you are looking for a regular driver as opposed to a show-ready car, older models like a 1970 Blazer for sale are often available at affordable prices. Be sure to inspect pictures for rust and body damage, which may shorten the life of the car.

Generally speaking, high mileage won't be an issue with newer Blazers. But if you're looking at an older model like a 2wd K5 Blazer for sale, looking into vehicle mileage before buying is wise.

Many of these older Blazers offered for sale have been rebuilt. When shopping, be sure to check if the engine has been rebuilt as well. In these cases, mileage on the rebuilt engine is often low. And if the rest of the vehicle has also been restored, chances are good that this will last.
