The Hummer is one of the more iconic vehicles on the road thanks to its large size, alpha styling, and powerful engine. One of the components that can become damaged is the exterior mirrors on both the driver and passenger side of the SUV. The Hummer h2 mirrors can have a few additional features that make the performance fairly versatile. It’s important to note that sometimes these extra features are only available via aftermarket means, but you’ll find that they add a lot of convenience to owning an h2. Here’s a list:

• Heated functionality - Heated mirrors are a good option for drivers that live in colder climes. When it comes time to replace the exterior mirror, the process is relatively easy. The mirror itself is actually mounted on clips, so you can use a 9/16-inch wrench to pry the mirror off of the clamp so that you can quickly replace it. It’s important to get the wrench under the components so that you don’t accidentally damage the surface.

If your Hummer h2 has the capability to power these components, but the replacement mirror doesn’t have the components installed, you can still use the non-powered mirror. The replacement mirror won’t have inputs for the power cables, so you’ll have to place them within the body of the Hummer door assembly.
