Cadillac CTS Grilles
Although the front grille is the first thing that people think of when they think of the Cadillac CTS, they may be surprised to find that this part has a major function. The different grilles provide protection for the Cadillacs engine and transmission. What types of grilles are there?There are three main types of replacement grilles for the Cadillac CTS. They include:

Grilles for your Cadillac can be made from a number of different materials depending on your wants and needs. Common materials to make this part include:
- ABS plastic - This material is used to make mass-market auto parts as it is lightweight and durable. It can be painted to match the exterior of your CTS.
- Aluminum - This malleable material is lightweight and resistant to corrosion. It can be chromed to give your CTS a luxurious appearance.
- Stainless steel - This material is heavy, but it provides the most protection for your Cadillacs engine and transmission. It is stain and corrosion resistant, meaning it will keep its gleam for years if not decades.
There are several places you may find grilles on a Cadillac. These locations include:
