This special edition of the mid-top Jordan 1, rereleased for women in late 2021, is colored a striking and deep red. It has the same sort of silhouette and distribution of leather overlays as the original Jordan 1, but the all red colorway is a new touch. The upper has leather overlays that run around the toebox, up the midfoot, and across the eyelet area. There are also leather overlays on the collar, around the heel, and on the side in the form of a Nike Swoosh. All of these are colored a deep red that Nike calls Pomegranate. The rest of the upper, while also made of leather, is colored University Red, which is not quite as dark.
