This special re-release of the classic Air Jordan 5 pays tribute to the original classic but with a new identity, featuring a sleek and shiny black leather upper that covers the toebox, eyelets, collar, heel, and most of the midfoot with intricate patterns. The only exception to this is a small section in the center of the midfoot made from black mesh fabric in a net or grid-like pattern. There is a black Jumpman logo embossed into the tongue. The black rubber sole also has an Air Max unit.
