The adidas Yeezy Powerphase Calabasas in Core Black first dropped in 2018. They were the third Powerphase collection colorway to be made available. With its semi-reflective black leather upper, the shoe features embossed lines on either side of the foot and Calabasas text in gold, added diagonally under the eyestays. The adidas brand name also appears under the eyestays, with a red Trefoil logo. All of these details make this shoe a throwback to the OG Powerphase adidas of the 1980s. Despite their minimalistic look, these Yeezy Powerphases bring comfort to the game with a lightweight EVA midsole and no-slip rubber sole.
